Many of the JEE aspirant prefer to purchase some books for JEE Mains and Advanced apart from their coaching or school material; Before exploring for the books do follow the following points ;-
- Before referring to any external book please be sure that you are doing your Board (NCERT) & your coaching material properly, if you are able to complete at 100% of your coaching/board Homework on regular basis then only refer other books
- If you are not taking any separate coaching for JEE then you can definitely refer to external books too along with your board books.

*PHYSICS*
This is considered as the king of books in Physics which is very useful for JEE Mains and Advanced. This book consists of the extension of concepts and some Advanced Level Problems compared to H.C. Verma, If you have weakness in some definite concepts (like Mechanics, Thermodynamics etc.) then along with H.C. Verma you can also refer this. 4. I.E. Irodov
This book is not specifically meant for JEE Advance, but many toppers prefer it. Mostly people who score 250+ in their JEE Mains prefer this book. You can only prefer this book if you have very powerful grip over concepts. If you have done H.C. Verma or S.L. Arora or D.C. Pandey very well (Solved at least 90-95%), then you can go for this book. In this book as all the sums are not aimed for Advanced you will have to choose and practice selected sums only which would be helpful to you for JEE Advanced. 1. NCERT-Chemistry
This is the best book if you want to score good in JEE Mains. If you remember and learn each and every single point you will land up with a very decent score in JEE-Mains. So one should do NCERT very well instead of searching for other books.

This book is a jewel book for JEE Advanced. It contains advanced level of problems and extended concepts compared to Errorless Series and NCERT.
